On the theme of the 'Silk Road' and the history of mulberry trees in Potsdam (silk worm breeding), the planting of 6 white mulberry trees took place on November 8, 2024 in the courtyard of the former Potsdam orphanage at the invitation of the 'Foundation Großes Waisenhaus in Potsdam'. Participants included young people from the JoJo residential group from Buckow (MOL), the managing director and foundation staff, a primary school class from Potsdam, a representative of the Potsdam Natural History Museum and a professional landscape gardener (from LT Natur GmbH). A great and exciting day with lots of information, exchange and mulberry treats.
